Feedback
"I just wanted to say a massive thank you to all of you for the hard work and support that has gone into the planning and delivery of the latest Seacation. As you know we had a couple of challenges with both weather and illness to deal with during the sailing, but even with that all our guests got to enjoy some fantastic shows and onboard experiences.
Special thanks to Andy for doing an amazing job working with Michael's team to get four shows in one day over the line, it was very much touch and go if we could even get the agreement, but in securing that we were able to deliver what guests were expecting."

This showcase represents one of 20 Sailcations I have had the pleasure to be part of. Since 2021, from managing John Bishop just as cruises were sailing around the British Isles to now - it has been incredible. Statistically speaking...

-20 exclusive sailcations
-182 events
-38 incredible artists, including Jason Manford, UB40 & Katherine Jenkins OBE.
-29,000+ guests
-38 months of meticulous planning

Our last sailing across the Canaries with Harry Redknapp and Michael Ball OBE was no different. Both Harry & Michael entertained guests with 4 shows over 2 consecutive days. Operating on a ship is very different to on land, as you are working with a new team each time, and with what the theatre has already installed. Sure, we brought on a range of production kit to embellish the shows, which comes with its own logistical challenges - but these events are long hours, very creative by way of technically building a show from scratch with the lighting engineers and takes producer level and stage management expertise to choreograph the shows. There's also a little hurdle namely travel sickness, where Michael had a spout for which we had to quickly adapt and emergency plan for. As his shows were on the penultimate and last nights, there was very little room for error or rescheduling. After negotiations with his agent and some persuasion, Michael didn't disappoint - the full 4 shows on the last night after being quarantined the previous 24 hours with illness. What a way to end the cruise, but we succeeded nonetheless.
